Paul Connew is a media commentator/advisor, broadcaster, ex-editor of Sunday Mirror and deputy editor of the Daily Mirror, as well as a columnist with The New European and The Drum. He comments on media issues for the BBC, Sky News, CNN, Talk Radio, Times Radio, LBC, Al-Jazeera, ABC and CBC. A longstanding Society of Editors member, and awards judge, Connew was among those who publicly disowned the SoE’s original statement denying racism existed at all in the UK press.
