Roy Greenslade

Roy Greenslade is a freelance journalist and former professor of journalism, specialising in media commentary. After stints writing for the Daily Star and The Sun, Greenslade became editor of the Daily Mirror in 1990. From 1992 to 2005 Greenslade served as media commentator for The Guardian, briefly departing for the Telegraph before returning to The Guardian and writing a daily media blog up until 2018. He concurrently wrote a weekly column in The Spectator from 2006 to 2016. Greenslade is also on the board of the academic quarterly British Journalism Review.
