John Lister has been a campaigner for the NHS and a health journalist for over 36 years. He has a PhD in global health policy, and has contributed to several book about the NHS, as well as writing and editing a major book on health journalism: First Do No Harm. John is currently Secretary of ‘Keep our NHS Public’, is editor of the Health Campaigns Together newspaper and website, and is co-founder of the free access fortnightly online news bulletin The Lowdown.
