Juliet Rix is an award-winning freelance journalist, editor, and broadcaster working for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Times, and BBC Radio, among others. With a background in science and the arts, she writes on health, social issued, culture, and travel. She is the author of two books for adults and is a contributor to the Guardian Rainy Day Book. She has travelled in over 50 countries on all seven continents.
