Edmund Curran was Deputy Editor of the Belfast Telegraph from 1974 until 1988 and Editor from 1992 until 2005 during the transition from conflict to peace in Northern Ireland, the negotiations and signing of the Good Friday Agreement and formation of the power-sharing administration at Stormont.
