David Cotton spent 21 years with two of the world’s biggest consultancies, Arthur Andersen and PwC, before becoming a freelance trainer.

For 20 years he worked in leadership and management development in more than 50 countries and his clients included the United Nations, The European Commission and European Parliament, the Russian Federal Commission, the Chinese Ministry of Finance, most of the Middle Eastern oil and gas companies and many large corporations in almost every industry sector.

A prolific writer, David is the author/co-author of 15 books, scores of articles and (indulging his passion) more than 1000 pieces of published music. He was director of an online leadership development company until his retirement in 2023. He plays county level croquet, is a multi-instrumentalist and enjoys life in semi-rural Berkshire.
