David Cay Johnston

David is an investigative journalist specialising in economics and tax issues. He has reported for such publications as the Los Angeles Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The New York Times. In 2001, he received the Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting ‘for his penetrating and enterprising reporting that exposed loopholes and inequities in the U.S. tax code, which was instrumental in bringing about reforms.’ Outside of journalism, he has lectured in tax and property law at Syracuse University and the Whitman School of Management.
