Dr Mary Dobbs (m.dobbs@qub.ac.uk) is a lecturer in Environmental Law in Queen’s University Belfast. She holds a PhD in environmental law from University College Dublin. Her current research focuses on environmental governance and agri-environmental issues, in particular in the context of Brexit.

Mary is a member of the Brexit and Environment Network, the policy group Future Earth Ireland in the Royal Irish Academy, and the UK Environmental Law Association. She works regularly with civil servants, industry and NGOs and has provided evidence to parliamentary and departmental inquiries on Brexit, the environment and agriculture.
