Professor David Paton holds the Chair of Industrial Economics at Nottingham University Business School. He is co-editor of the International Journal of the Economics of Business and is a member of Economists for Free Trade. His research on topics such as the economics of cricket, gambling taxation, productivity, teenage pregnancy and the post-Brexit economy has been published in a wide range of outlets. David has provided advice to a range of government departments including DCMS, HM Customs and Excise, DTI and the National Audit Office.
