Viviane Gravey
Academic
Viviane Gravey is a lecturer in European Politics at Queen’s University Belfast.
She holds a PhD in environmental politics from the University of East Anglia, an MSc in Politics and Government of the EU from the London School of Economics, and a Masters in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. Her current research focuses on EU environmental policy dismantling, European (dis)integration and the impact of Brexit on the UK environment and agriculture sectors.
As co-chair of the Brexit and Environment network, Viviane offers impartial advice and information on how Brexit is affecting environmental policies and government. She was a lead author of the expert review on the EU referendum and the UK environment[1], and has given evidence to the House of Commons, the Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Parliament on what Brexit will mean for the environment and agriculture.
