Emma Woollacott is a freelance journalist living in Oxford. She usually writes about technology—much less interesting than paddling in ponds and eating ice cream. She writes regularly for the BBC, Forbes and other business titles, typically without her illustrations.

She has been drawing all her life, but this is her first illustrated book. Emma has two daughters who are, sadly, now much too old for this book.
