In this his latest book, he gets to grips with why he should buy an Alfa Romeo, which, as he rightly says, has become a marque with more baggage than a fully loaded Boeing 747. Fascinated by how cars represent their country stereotypes, he examines a really interesting new Alfa – with its combination of brio, joy in life – and pure pleasure.
