Kate Parkin is an illustrator who originally trained in silversmithing before working within the world of magazine publishing, contributing to many interior magazines from Real Homes to Homes & Gardens as a stylist and editorial contributor. Returning to her artist training, Kate developed her own illustration style, exhibiting work, taking part in art fairs and self-publishing her own work, including Let’s Count, The Beetroot Bird and Maurice The Magpie. She volunteers for Doorstep Library, a charity that brings books to children with limited access to libraries.
