Roddy Matthews

Roddy Matthews has spent over forty years in the music business, during which he has been a writer, arranger, guitarist, producer, engineer and label manager. His songs have been used in films and TV, and he has played with a wide range of artists, from George Michael to Basement Jaxx, Rick Astley to Charles Aznavour, and Tom Jones to Snoop Dogg.
He is currently Head of Songwriting at London College of Creative Media (LCCM) where he has taught since 2011. Several of his former students have gone on to secure recording and publishing deals, and one, Tom Walker, won a Brit in 2019.
