Head of Creative
Amelia is Head of Creative (and self-professed “Brand Police”) of Bite-Sized books. She joined the team to design and ignite the company´s new visual identity. She now supports the scrutiny of visual detail whilst championing the brave application of the bold brand.
Amelia is an award-winning, multidisciplinary designer, with extensive experience unleashing brand potential through visual storytelling: whether using graphic design, data visualization or UX/UI as her medium. She accentuated her passion for user-centric methodologies studying Design Thinking for Business Innovation at Esade and Aalto business schools (Barcelona and Helsinki respectively). Complementing her design work, she also consults and teaches applied Design Thinking for a range of international clients, which currently include Lacoste, Unicef, Kosmos Holding and Ravenous Butterflies.
She recently joined Bite-Sized after her role as Head of Data Visualization for Zurich Insurance, during which she defined the company´s global strategy for data visualization in alignment with their new visual identity.
This year she also became Creative Director at CXD Media, now leading Oceanographic´s suite of design outputs focusing on ocean conservation, exploration and adventure.
Born and raised in London, she now lives in Spain with her husband and dog where she knowingly overindulges in beach time, tapas and photographing Andalusian architecture.
